14/03/2016: Consular Services to be rendered at the Philippine Honorary Consulate in Miami, April 1 and 2

A representative of the Philippine Embassy in Washington, D.C. will be at the Philippine Honorary Consulate in Miami, Florida on 1 and 2 April 2016 for passport renewal applications and provide other consular services.

Applicants are advised to make an appointment to secure a slot during the 2-day visit, by sending an email request to honcon.miami@gmail.com (cc: consular@philippinesusa.org).  Below is the schedule of consular services that will be offered.

The complete list of requirements for the consular services enumerated above may be found at http://www.philippineembassy-usa.org/philippines-dc/consular-services-dc/.  It is important that applicants with appointments come with all the required documents to avoid the rejection of their application.  Also note that all fees are payable in cash.

Through the efforts of Mr. Henry Howard, Consul a.h., the Philippine honorary consulate’s new premises is located at the heart of Miami’s financial district (12th Floor, 1200 Brickell Avenue, Miami, Florida 33131).  Mr. Howard was appointed by the Honorable Albert del Rosario, former Secretary of Foreign Affairs, as the Philippines’ honorary consul for the state of Florida in 2015.  With extensive ties to the Philippines, Mr. Howard is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the U.S. Education Finance Group, an Advisory Board Member of the Center for Strategic and International Studies, and a member of the Board of Directors of the U.S.-Philippines Society, among his other duties.  (END)
