Amb. Gaa Honors Filipino WWII Veterans' Services & Sacrifices on 62nd Anniversary of Enactment of Rescission Act


On 19 February 2008, a day
after the 62nd anniversary of the Rescission Act of 1946, Ambassador
Willy C. Gaa, together with Filipino WWII veterans and officials from
the Philippine Embassy, honored the services and sacrifices of Filipino
WWII veterans by laying wreaths at a simple and solemn ceremony at the
Bataan-Corregidor marker at the World War II Memorial in Washington D.C.
