Energy and Agriculture Secretaries Hold Joint Press Conference at Embassy; Discusses Agri-Business, Bio-Fuels and Renewable Energy
Following their
participation at the 2008 World International Renewable Energy
Conference (WIREC) in Washington D.C. on 4-5 March 2008, Energy
Secretary Angelo Reyes and Agriculture Secretary Arthur Yap hold a joint
press conference with Manila and Washington D.C. based media to brief
them on their activities at the conference and to discuss Philippine
pursuit of bio-fuel and the possible impact of the implementation of the
Philippine bio-fuels law, developments in agribusiness, the pursuit and
development renewable energy sources and its impact on the Philippine
economy, and other related issues.
