Ambassador Gaa Opens the Emmanuel Garibay Art Exhibit at the Embassy
The exhibit is part of a series of events organized by the Philippine Embassy in celebration of the Fil-Am Heritage Month last October.
Shown in the picture are Ambassador Gaa, Mr. Louie Tupas (in barong),
President of the UP Alumni Association in Maryland, DC and Virginia,
which co-sponsored the event, Mr. Emmanuel Garibay (beside Amb. Gaa) and
Consul Rico Fos, the Embassy Cultural Officer.
Emmanuel Garibay is a Philippine-based multi awarded visual artist who
has done solo exhibitions in Manila, Quezon City, and Davao City in the
Philippines. He has also exhibited in Sydney, New York, the Netherlands,
and Jakarta. He is a graduate of the UP College of Fine Arts.
