Asian American Groups Express Support for Filipino WWII Veterans and Passage of Filipino Veterans Equity Bill
During celebrations
conducted at the Philippine Embassy in Washington D.C. to commemorate
the “Araw ng Kagitingan” (Day of Valor) on 09 April 2008, officials and
representatives from the Asian American Justice Center, Organization of
Chinese Americans and the Japanese American Veterans Association
expressed their support for the Filipino WWII veterans and for the
efforts to have a Filipino Veterans Equity Bill passed by the U.S.
Congress.
