Ambassador Gaa Welcomes Further Expansion Plans in Meet with Western Union's Pres. and CEO
Philippine Ambassador to
the U.S. Willy C. Gaa meets with Western Union's President and Chief
Executive Officer Cristina Gold to discuss business expansion in the
Philippines, the 4th largest Western Union remittance center in the
world. Ms. Gold, who launched Western Union's Asia-Pacific Branch in
Manila in October 2007, is accompanied by senior Western Union
Officials, EVP for Corporate Affairs Anne McCarthy, Senior VP for
Government Relations Tim Daly, and Vice President for Public Affairs
Barbara Span.
Ambassador Gaa welcomed Western Union’s additional investments in the
Philippines. He also said that Western Union’s broader reach will bring
remittance services to a greater number of people and make such service
even more safe and secure.
