2008 Presidential Awards
The Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO) is
now accepting nominations to the 2008 Presidential Awards for Filipino
Individuals and Organizations Overseas.
The Presidential Awards is a biennial search to recognize exceptional
individuals and organizations for their outstanding contribution to the
Philippine progress and development.
The Awards are also conferred on overseas Filipinos who have shown
excellence and distinction in their work or profession.
The Primer containing the rules and guidelines for the awards as well as
the nomination forms maybe obtained by writing the Philippine Embassy
c/o the Cultural Section or by downloading it from the CFO website (www.cfo.gov.ph).
The Embassy and Philippine Consulates General in the US will accept
completed nomination forms with complete supporting documents for
evaluation and possible endorsement to the CFO up to the end of the
business hour of 02 May 2008.
